I've also been informed that this was the first time in 17 years of the event 
that a fatality has occurred. Very sad. The gentleman and his Lady were both 
from Ered Sul. The gentleman was squired to Dred Lord (Thunder) from the 
Outlands. He had been playing for several years. The lady in question had 
been playing for over a year, and had attended many events, but this was only 
her second big war. She had filled out her membership papers for the SCA just 
the day before. Sad, very, very sad.
