Back in the 70s, when slide rules were for math instead of baseball I
took regents level chemistry. They had just changed the rules from no
slide rules to no electronic calculators. I had my teacher teach me how
to use a slide rule ;-)
The next year it was phrased no electronic calculators or slide rules

Don't know why, but I have a block against certain forms of math, but
can use calculators and slides because I can remember the formulas to
use, just suck at math!
