My 1st degree was in genetics...sounds cool. :) I'm in micro now, though - Streptomyces. For those who don't know, they're BACTERIA. Yes, we get bugged about working on the wannabe fungus. *g* Because they produce over 70% of the known antibiotics. Just had to share. *s*

Bleach makes Azotobacter turn really cool colours - fluorescent orange and green. How much more horrible for the bacteria, though?
