What I have seen in central Pa are calves in a plastic hut about 6 x 6 with
a fenced in area about the same size.  Presumably they are veal calves.
Awhile back I remember a big uproar in the newspaper about how veal calves
were raised.  This is going back about 15 years.  The article showed a
picture of a calf in a crate so it could not move and that frequently the
farmers removed a leg, so it could not walk.  I could not eat veal after
that.
