The most logical answer is that people who live in areas which are populated
by a large number of people of a particular religious persuasion to simply
not use recipes containing the proscribed' ingredient. There are hundreds ,
if not thousands, of recipes to choose from so distorting a recipe to comply
with allergy or religion is not necessary.
