Please don't use the term "holiday gifts" in the Subject line.
Majordomo will bounce them from the filters.

Thanks,

I received,

A good start on a new set of stainless flatware. My husband bought the
basic
place settings, and one of my daughters bought teaspoons. It's a
European
style set--so the teaspoons are barely larger than demitasse spoons, but

we'll get used to it. I've been told to expect more pieces in Feb. for
my
birthday. The other daughter gave me 8 sideplates (luncheon plates) and

promises more pieces of that set as time goes on. Also, a new grater
that
has the more useful small grating blade/holes rather than the nail-punch

style that I've muttered about for years, and a garlic press of better
design than the one my husband mutters about.

I gave: loaves of Bishops Bread (a quickbread with dates/cherries/choc
chips/dried appricots and nuts that serves as fruitcake in our family. I

have posted recipe before and so won't repeat it, the curious may
contact me
off list.) And a good bottle of wine.

next?

Bonne
