I was told last year that crab prices would be
outrageous this year and probably next year as well.
Too much overfishing, and the people who regulate that
kind of thing have drastically limited the number of
crabs and areas where they can be caught. They need a
year or two to recover from the over fishing. The
person who told me this makes his living selling
seafood for the Alaska Seafood COmpany. THey only
handle frozen stuff, but it's really good for frozen.
They fast freeze it on the boats when it's caught. But
that's what this guy told me last year. And from what
prices have done, it'sounds like he might have known
what he was talking about.

I hear what you're saying.  We're not sure
either...the price escalated 
quite steeply over
the past year...they were cheaper the year before.
