No, not wrong. It's... well... like this. Yes, it's perfectly sensible
to expect people to act like responsible adults, and it's a perfectly
sensible professional attitude to say, "I've been on my feet cooking
since 7 AM, I've done everything my job description could remotely call
for, fulfilled every responsibility, and, dammit, I'm tired and my feet hurt."

Hmmm. How to say this? I'm not saying you ought to do more, exactly.
Maybe there's a blurry line between one's professional responsibilities
as a cook and the somewhat more nebulous, but possibly more demanding
obligations of an old-style host?
