Sorry... US law trumps SCA regulations with regards to manufacture of alcohol.
In the US, individuals are allowed to brew/ferment xx gallons of alcohol. There
are no provisions for groups to use the same allowance as an individual. In
fact every other organization who brews/ferments is required to be licensed by
US statute.
It is a very fine line between an officer of the SCA distributing alcohol as an
officer versus as a person. If you have further questions on the current
interpretation of these rules, see your kingdom seneschal or Duke Andrew.
