Sorry, but the tax situation for retired military is better in Az, and I
have done california, and for the most part I just plain don't like
either north or south of the grapevine. Personally, I think they should
nuke LA into a nice glass parking lot for DisneyLand and let the
agricultural areas have their water back to grow food with.

He is also going to plant me citrus trees, and grapes ;-)

Actually, he is going to do a lot of growing of stuff, his military
duties prevent him from being around to do all the work that gardening
requires and is looking forward to having a job that lets him know he
will be home when he needs to be. Of course I am sort of looking forward
to that also ;-o
