Ain't it the truth?  I was a little hasty pouring out the syrup the other 
night, and promptly wound up with a 2nd degree burn blister the size of an M&M 
on my index finger.  Hurt like heck for a while.  Sugar can be hazardous to 
more than one's waistline when it's at 260F/130C.

Brighid, who is glad that tonight she only needs to make a kinder, gentler 
recipe involving honey at much lower temperatures
