Actually, for the best exposure -
Wait for the next royal progress event that has fighting and all sorts
of events and volunteer to make a 'queen's tea' day board sort of thing
by telling her Maj. that you will provide lunch for x number of people,
and have a worked out menu and such - make sure it is affordable for you
to do. It helps if you can get the loan of a nice pavilion set up next
to the list with a table and chairs  and the like. I have found that it
is fairly easy to get the loan of spiffy feast and serving gear, table
linens and the like.

The queen [and king, if she invites him] and her selected guests get a
great period lunch and some quiet time to relax without having to worry
about scrounging food...you get to show off your cooking and menu
planning abilities and you get noticed in a positive way.
