[Sca-cooks] A question about eggs

Don't know the periodness of white vs brown eggs.  Though what determines
the colour of the shell is solely based on the kind of hen.  So I figure,
if one can trace back a particular variety of hen back to our
period/location, then you can tell which is which.  I suspect both were found.
