This sou8nds accurate. While humans in modern paternal societies tend to
place undue empnasis on the male's place in society, the truth of the matter
is that it only takes one bull to breed an entire herd of cows,camels or
whatever. I would see no more use for male camels outside of being used for
breeding stock than extra bulls and roosters among the farm animals that we
are most familiar with.

Adult male camels are very aggressive and can get downright nasty and
dangerous as do bulls and roosters.
