You don't see scrumpy until it is ussually too late!
that being an empty glass.
It is cloudy (usually) and can be either still or sparkling and is often
made on the farms themselves.
In this country they have urban legends about the best containing drowned
rats or dogs.
there is even a song that points out that the dog never bit anyone when he
was alive so he won't do it now.
The Somerset area makes the best scrumpy but you can get it in the local
supermarket.
We always have to warn our American guests about the alcoholic content of
cider because yours is maidens water.:-)
