    I just turned 48 last week, and I'm doing fine. Bugs bite me, bugs die.
I seldom get sick, but when I do, it's a killer! My weight is within 10 lbs
of what I was when I mustered out of the Marines back in the late neolithic,
and I've the great good fortune to have ancestors who had the good sense to
hang onto their hair to the bitter end. And they were long lived enough to
have qualified for membership in the Ira Howard Foundation. Feisty to the
end, too, the lot of 'em . . . I really don't know HOW I remain so healthy,
must be righteous living. Have to give that a try someday . . .
    My 30th year High School reunion is coming up at the end of the month,
and I'm really looking forward to seeing how many of my old classmates now
look ready for retirement. <snicker> Especially since my hair now falls to
the small of my back . . .
