I don't know of any historical food poisoning anecdotes, but I have one of my
own. In Caer Mear, there was this event coming up called Mongol's Revenge.
Ashahito wanted to become Baron and if he didn't, he would raid and pillage
the lands. Well, Balynar became Baron of Caer Mear and so Ashahito was coming
with his mongol Khanate. Well, the event before Mongol's Revenge, Spring
Revel, they wanted me to do a sort of "food critic" spoof. I was decked out
in my best garb and was more flamboyant than Iron Chef. So I tested the food
and chocked and my aides called for help and no one came but then Friar
Thomas came to me, gave me my last rights, and I died....but that was my
other persona, Nikita. Thats how Misha sprang up. It was lots of fun.
