I believe a number of folks on this list have this book. At this time,
it appears to be about all that is available on medieval Polish
cooking. The information looks good, but the recipes are not apparently
taken directly from any medieval recipes and are re-creations of onw
of the authors from other information.

The only recipe that I have tried is the one for the saffron wafers and
I, and apparently others who have tried it, never could get the wafers
to come out right. They are delicious, but they don't stick together
and crumble before you can even get them out of the iron.

For more information and reviews on this book, check this file in the
FOOD-BY-REGION section of the Florilegium:

I hope this helps.
