Our kitchen stove runs off propane, and we've been using it for our daily
cooking for four or five years now.  As long as your kitchen is normally
ventilated, there shouldn't be any problem with it.  Of course, we don't run
the gas without lighting a burner, and like somebody else said, we don't use
the kitchen stove to heat the house.
