I used to sing in a Bach choir - that is, we only sang Bach.

One Sunday, we were singing during a church service at an Episcopal 
church. At a certain point, most of the folks in the choir got up and 
started leaving the choir "loft". I didn't get up - it wasn't 
something that was part of the choir. But the woman next to me kept 
shoving me and hissing, so i got up and walked out.

Next thing i knew i was in line in front of the altar. I wasn't 
really sure what was going on, maybe we were being thanked by the 
priest/whatever. The NEXT thing i know, i'm being fed the wafer and 
given a sip of wine.

Then we walked back to the choir loft. The friend i was with, a guy 
who was naturally quite a few rows away from me, thought it was 
pretty funny.
