Not really. The metal blade doesn't incorporate
enough air to reach the best consistency. The best I
have found is the "medium peak stage", after which
they just kind of spin around in the bowl...
However, you can use the Cuisinart to reach this
point, and then finish them with a balloon whip (in a
copper bowl, if you have one). It will still be much
quicker than beating them the entire way by hand.
Or, use an electric beater...that works well, also.
