SC - Our Mardi Gras celebration or rocking and rolling in Seattle

We are all fine, Salix (guess which cat lived in alaska!) was very glad to
see me, Mel's cat was wigging out and Salix had very little patience for her
feline companion.
We lost power at the office (about 18 miles north east of downtown seattle)
for about 4 hours, definitely felt both the S wave and the P wave
separately.
Bill in Olympia, was almost on top of it. Did not feel two sets of waves.
The news reports as usual, dwelt on the worse.  I had nothing broken, or
even out of place. Bill lost the mirror over the fireplace, the soy sauce
bottle broke and the steel shot (for tumbling jewelry) storage jar broke so
there was steel shot all over the floor.
Just put bill on the plane....to Dublin.  British airways left on time.

Yeah, I'm ok. Still really jittery though. I know they said there
wouldn't be any aftershocks because of the kind of quake it was, but
still- a truck rolls by and...

Snoopy the Cat still seems to think that I Did Something to make the
house shake... ;-)
