Not only a cleaver, but also a pre-mixed B-tank oxy-acetylene torch. I
told you, she's tough.

Normally my routine includes working from home, with frequent trips in
and out. I usually wake up at 6 or so, and go to bed around 12, and the
occasions when I check and deal with e-mail are spread out around the
day, so there is probably some illusory effect where I appear to be
online all day, when in fact I'm not. At this very moment, in fact, I'm
off doing something else.

I used to have a coffin upstairs, but we now rent that out. You wouldn't
believe what New Yorkers will pay for a good coffin, clean, pest-free
(unless you count Brennan), convenient for shopping, public transit, and
highways.

Oh, and did I mention that I actually do not speak or write English at
all? Like Bela Lugosi, early in his career, and many of the older opera
singers, I don't actually understand the language I perform in, I've
just been carefully coached to respond, phonetically, to certain complex
cues. You see? There! I just wrote a paragraph that is utterly
incomprehensible to me. Luckily, I have a very talented dialogue coach,
a Norwegian Blue parrot, as a matter of fact, who always keeps me one
step ahead of this crippling language deficiency. Oh, look, the
Norwegian Blue seems to be flat on his ba... um...

Que?
