I've found that if I keep all my dry goods (flour, beans, grains, pasta) in plastic or
glass jars for about 6 months, and always store newly-bought dry goods in the freezer for
about a week, the problem goes away. The last attack of 'em I got was about, oh, 4 years
ago-- it came in with some untreated gerbil food.
