An apple-egg is simply a hard boiled egg that is fashioned to look like a
small apple.  If you look at the cover picture of my online photo album at
http://communities.msn.com/OlwensOddities&naventryid=100 and look at the
basket next to the "flower" arrangement you will see some of the apple eggs
sitting in the basket with some grapes.  I shall make sure to take a good
picture of the apple-eggs I make this weekend for anyone who would like to
see them.
