Thank you. I was wondering what this "trace" was, too.

For the Castile soap you have to stir it over a fire for 2 or 3 *days*?
Even if that is just stir and not stir over a fire, that seems like
a long time. For most of Europe that was a high priced import. No
wonder it was so high priced. The fact that it was olive oil I guess
also added to the price.
