[Sca-cooks] Boiled Eggs

   Doing some reading this week-end I came across
    a reference to Boiled eggs used as garnish.
   (Early french Cookery pg.367-368)
  Also seen a recipe that called for poached eggs
    (Take a 1000 eggs or more Vol.I pg.24)
  This peeked my curiosity and lead to some more
   reading thru my books,while not the greatest is
  a start.
   My queston is this......When is the first documented
  use of boiled eggs ether as garnish or as an ingrediant ?
