Hey, Tantalus is easy.  He was condemned to stand in a pool of water
with boughs of lucious fruit hanging over his head.  Each receeded from
his grasp when he tried to reach them.

Sisyphus is a bit more of a stretch...  One of his indescretions did
involve deceiving Persephone, she of the pomegranate seeds.  But, that's
a pretty weak link.
