Ha. When I moved into this new, custom-built, custom-designed house, I
discovered that, despite both the architect and I having taken separate
measurements of the bookcases in the old house, and despite dozens of
shelf-feet for cookbooks in the kitchen, and a Library with lots of bookcases -
I _still_ didn't have enough room.  The contractor had to come back and build
another bookcase in another room for the paperbacks.

<sigh>

It's a disease. A compulsion. Books. Darn them all for being so delightful.
