There is an herb - musk seed, musk mallow, Egyptian alcee, target-leaved
hibiscus, Ambrette Seed, Hibiscus abelmoschus - which is used as a musk
substitute.  Specifically, an oil prepared from the seeds is used.

So, you might try looking for ambrette oil.
