How about something with "Guys & Dolls", which is all about gangsters and chorus girls and the races and gambling and the Salvation Army, with a side trip to Cuba...   You could do caviar (cheap) and champagne and blintzs (for the gangsters)and a course of Cuban/Mexican food for the Cuban trip and something hearty and warming (like beef or lamb stew with potatoes and maybe string beans for the Salvation Army.  Oh, and there's a wedding in it too...
