Kiri-sensei, I have lost my eyebrows in explosions, frightened kings-and-knights-in-training with Chinese cleavers, thrown myself into hot convection ovens, abused strangers in my kitchens who turned out to be the sitting Crown who had travelled a long way to give me an AoA, spoken in tongues with help from Islay malt whisky, and been given the Godfather's Kiss of Death by a certain Duke...
