You missed some Gunthar,

The M.A.S.H. doctors and nurses, the longbow pilots, and the poor slobs who
volunteered for the teams with acronym names for the dubious pleasure of
smearing black paint on their faces and doing scary stuff that never makes
the news.

When the building is clear and the funerals are over and we go to a
semblance of normal life, they won't.

Not to minimize the heroism of the firemen and cops, mind. They are
exhausted and injured, and at this point, especially with the rain must be
hopeless, yet it goes on.

I wouldn't want their dreams. Added to my own personal selfish list of
blessings, along with the fact that my cousin was at a pediatrician's
appointment with her son when she saw her office on the news, along with the
fact that Master A is okay (since the world *needs* more Rusty and the Big
Guy fans), is the fact that my son is too young to understand and thus
react. A friend's son is old enough to understand, and to ask questions that
we've not answered for ourselves yet.

Obligatory food content - on the list of expected reactions that Dana/Xemina
sent I found humor, but couldn't find cooking. Anyone else been futilely
trying to fill an emotional void by baking?
