Olwen,
a vita-mix is that blender-looking thingie that is advertised with
all sorts of fruits, grains, and meats (like a whole cow and a pig)
going into the top.  Really, REALLY powerful.

If you have access to a Farmers Almanac, or a Mothers' Earth
News, you will see adverts and order blanks for them.
