>(hey, who brought winter back? It's down in the high fifties.

Winter? Heck, that's SUMMER here. You know what Mark Twain didn't say
about San Francisco, but everyone thinks he did: "The coldest winter
i ever passed was a summer in San Francisco".

When we're camping in the summer, it can be in the high forties or
low fifties at night, no matter how hot it is during the day (it has
been around freezing a few times, too - in July at night in the
mountains). Of course, when we're camping in the Spring (as i was
1-1/2 weeks ago and will be again in a couple days) high fifties can
be a good day-time temperature, as long as it isn't raining (as it
did 1-1/2 weeks ago).

I actually set up my Coleman propane stove in my tent to cook (French
double bell wedge made of fire-resistant Sunforger canvas with a 12 X
16 footprint and at least 8 feet high in the center).

Anahita
who misses heat - the one good thing about Southern California -
well, apart from a few nice Caidans on this list :-)
and hundreds of good Thai restaurants
