Gelder is now on sale. The Hardcover which was $39.95 is now available
at  @ $6.63 each. The book is subtitled "Food in Classical Arabic
Literature" and covers the connections between food and literature in
Arab culture, from pre-Islamic poetry to the Koran to 1001 Nights. It
was published in the United Kingdom as "Of Dishes and Discourse". No
recipes; it's not a cookbook but an examination of the role of food in
