Darkover is the name of a Science Fantasy Convention.  it was started by
fans of the "Darkover" series of books, but has since.. uh... mutated...
it now has a large music fan base.. and great concerts! as well as the
annual "Clam Chowder" concert and charity fund raiser....
otherwise it is much like any other science fiction convention....... but
very friendly.
