TMJ is NOT a just "dental" issue. It is a bones and joint issue.
You may need to be seen by a Maxillofacial surgeon.
While sometimes maxillofacial surgeons operate out of dentists offices, it is
NOT a dental specialty, like periodontistry or orhtodontistry.
You _can_ obtain the referral from your PCP.
Please call your PCP right now for an emergency examination appointment to get
the correct referral.
