Well, Maire, while I agree that fried food in general are bad for you, I
will say that a french fry properly done should not be greasy and will have
minimal fat content to it.  IMHO :-)  It's the mayonaise that'll get you
;-)  And the beer, 'cuz you need a good belgian beer with fries and
mayonaise ;-)
