What can I say, except yes, you will. It sounds like Murphy was a
good friend and had a good life, and by cat standards, a long one.
You should probably do what you have to to take care of yourself, and
try to spare some emotion for one of Murphy's kin, who would, no
doubt, greatly enjoy being in charge of your home. In time, of course.

I'm sorry for your loss, but it'll get better.
