Oh, MiLord Ranvaig, my heart simply breaks for you. There is nothing I can say, except that you are not alone. I am crying with you, as, I am sure, are alot of your friends on here.

Murphy has been failing since summer and we talked about putting him
down, but I couldn't bring myself to do it as long as he was stable
and reasonably happy. When I got home from work tonight he was
laying on his blanket and crying, hardly able to lift his head. I
took him to the vet hospital and they helped him on his way.

He had used up more than his share of nine lives over the years, and
I will miss him.
