Once, in Hoboken, NJ, two old cigar-smoking men with bushy eyebrows
actually commented on them, saying (and I really, honestly quote),
"Pipe de gams on dat one!" Accompanied by a wiggling hitchhiker's
thumb, a la Bugs Bunny.

Translating for those born in the 20th century, gams are a lady's
legs. "Pipe" means, roughly, "take note of", or, "observe".
