BTW did anyone remember the fact that Vlad was also known for his extreme
honesty? A story goes that he was visiting a village when a wealthy merchant
was robbed of 30 gold crowns(soveriegns or whatever the coinage was at the
time). IF anyone knew who the thief was and turned them over, they would be
spared, while the thief hung. The money was returned to Vlad who ordered an
extra coin to be placed in the coffer. When the merchant was counting the
money, he found the extra coin and gave it back to Vlad. Elsewise he'd have
hung with the thief for being so dishonest as to take advantage of his host's
piety and honesty.

Vlad was also touted by the church for being a Good Christian.

Just interesting tidbits

Finn, who just happens to like the neck biting kind of vamps, not the psychic
ones.
