I suffered from two horrendous wisdom teeth extractions two years ago.
The nice doctor gave me darvoset.  I actually went to work the next day.
Don't remember what I did there.  Do remember that my face still hurt I
just wasn't in my body enough to notice it.  Wonderful drug, but
couldn't work like that.
Ibuprofen and me are however not good friends, yes the pain stops but
the full body hives that result 30 minutes later just about make up for
it.  Hey my knees better but my eyeballs are itching;-)
