[Sca-cooks] Candles

What about beef? I've got quite a large tub of beef suet, all nicely
rendered (and yes, it *did* smell a bit like the animal it came from
when I was cooking it down, but the rendered stuff is quite faint), and
set aside for soap making.  Would it work for candles, too?
