No Estrella for us, alas. If Jared can't fight [unemployed and recent elbow
surgery] and I can't shop, what's the point?
There's a good "pity party" though, a mini-collegium, potluck and bardic
circle an hour's drive east of Los Angeles. The potluck is "not necessarily
period food" so I'm taking the opportunity and making a Mardi Gras King's
Cake.  I got the "baby" [a little pink plastic baby, modern version;
originally a bean] last year so it's my obligation to make the cake at
least. Still waiting for the "good luck" though.

My own coronation feast? Dunno. But I have already decided one thing.
Caid's queen gets her own day, the "Festival of the Rose" about mid-reign;
I want a garlic food fest, a Festival of the Stinking Rose.

Selene, Caid
