[Sca-cooks] Everyone gone already?

So have I. They are supposed to be a old German
custom. Now, I have known many old Germans, but none
have ever practiced hiding pickles in the Christmas
Tree for good luck. The only place I have seen this
custom mentioned has been in merchandise catalogs.
