[Sca-cooks] Queston on Musical cooking

I'm eclectic in my musical tastes, like Lainie, but I don't have
anything that's specifically cooking-oriented. Repetitive tasks, like
typing term papers, call for Vivaldi, or my old copy of Andrew Lloyd
Webber's Theme and Variations on the 24th A-minor Caprice by Paganini
(cello and rock band--awesome <g>). If I need loud house cleaning
music, it's apt to be something like Pink Floyd, BTO, the Doobies,
Kansas, Styx, the Police, the Cars, maybe Fine Young Cannibals (well,
that's _close_ to OFC <g>).
I travel with people whose tastes differ from mine like you wouldn't
believe, so we generally don't have music on. Good road music for me
would be the loud stuff that would make me feel like I'm 16 again, and
can do anything.....
We can use headphones back in my part of the company at work, and I plug
mine into my cd-rom drive, and listen to just about anything--U2,
Santana, traditional Celtic, Dead Can Dance, Pink Floyd, the Cranberries
(oooh...another food reference), Loreena McKennit, Alanis Morisette,
local musicians, Pierre Bensusan, Paul Simon, my co-worker's jazz.....
--maire, eating hot chocolate chip cookies and listening to William
Ackerman, on guitar....ahhh....perfect friday evening.....
