I like that idea! I have a recipe for something like a that - a sweet yeast dough filled with dried fruits - but it's late 16thc., not exactly medieval ;-) However, I'll take a look and see what recipes for that kind of thing exist from an earlier period... (I also thought it would be cute to include a little note with the original recipe on it, in Latin or whatever.)
