OK, I know this is a late response but has to be made (at least in my
opinion)
growing up cooking Aussie hamburgers I find the following is now the onkly
really acceptable option for me

Toasted Bun (or bread)
lettuce, tomatoe, pineapple, beetroot, cheese
meat patty, cooked onion, bacon, egg

standard methos is to toast bun, place lettuce tomatoe and beetroot on one
half

cook, egg, bacon, patty and onion on the grill, stack it all up along with
the pinapple and the cheese

transfer it to the sald, add sauce of your choice, but on the top bun and
see if you can get your mouth around it
